Adult Bible Study

Starting January 4, Trial & Triumph: Revelation’s Churches. This 14-session study was done by Appian Media, the same people who did the excellent studies we have already done:  Following the Messiah, Searching for a King, and Out of Egypt.  This is a documentary about the seven churches in the book of Revelation, which received personal words from the Risen Christ.  The documentary was filmed at the locations of the churches in what is now modern-day Turkey.  Jeremy Dehut explores the uniqueness of each city and church as he speaks with archaeologists, historians, and biblical experts.  He also highlights the stories of Christians around the world who are living and learning from the same reliable and relevant message given to those seven churches.  As we consider the challenges, cultural pressures, and victories First Century Christians experienced, we are compelled to consider our own challenges and what the Lord may be saying to our churches today.  All adults are welcome to join us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings, 8:30-9:30 a.m.  If so inclined, grab a cup of coffee and join us at the table for this study!  We enjoy good fellowship and discussion as we learn.
